House of Commons 2010

Harry speaks in the Chamber

On Friday 29th of October, Harry attended the Youth Parliament sitting in the House of Commons.

As well as finding the debates into the school leaving age, uni fees and sex education engaging, Harry himself took part in the Parliament’s discussion on the current conflict in Afghanistan.

“The event was an excellent achievement and the fact that so many young people at home took part by viewing the live feed, is evidence that young people are more involved in politics than ever before…We voted on our future campaigns and the day was a great success” – Harry Carter MYP
